In 2011, in the midst of a long reabsorption of his main band Helalyn Flowers which will then bring them back into vogue with the expected 2013 come-back "White Me In | Black Me Out", Maxx Maryan concretizes in a very short time what, in large part, left incomplete in his teen years, everything (and on purpose) within about six weeks, from arrangements and songwriting, to recording, mixing, photos, printing etc. The Wet is a sort of last-minute project, which delves into the maze of Death / Thrash Metal of the early 90s, the one contaminated by Punk, '80s Hardcore, Industrial music, with a marked rhythmic tribalism. So Nailbomb, Sepultura, Kaoslord, Flash Terrorist, The Mist as well as Skinny Puppy, Godflesh, Pitch Shifter, Optimum Wound Profile and the Grind / Crust Punk of Disrupt, Napalm Death and Extreme Noise Terror, all condensed into seven tracks that sing the injustices to harm of tribal realities as paradigm of the current ones, more subtle to the direct damage of the individual ...
